Our Commitment

Coastal Group Brokers is committed to making our website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. Accessibility Features of This Website

We have implemented the following features to improve accessibility:

• On-page accessibility tool: Every page includes an accessibility menu — opened from the accessibility button in the lower-left corner on both desktop and mobile. It lets you enlarge text, enable a high-contrast color scheme, highlight links, switch to a more readable font, pause animations, enable a larger cursor, and turn on a reading guide. Your preferences are saved on your device between visits.
• Reduced motion support: If your device is set to "reduce motion," animations and transitions are automatically minimized.
• Skip navigation link: A "Skip to main content" link is available at the top of every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation elements.
• Semantic HTML structure: Pages use proper heading hierarchy (H1–H4), landmark roles (header, main, nav, footer), and ARIA labels to support screen readers.
• Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements — links, buttons, and form controls — are accessible via keyboard (Tab, Enter, Space, Escape).
• Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines are provided for all keyboard-focusable elements.
• Alternative text: Images include descriptive alt attributes. Decorative images are marked with aria-hidden="true".
• Color contrast: Text and interactive elements maintain sufficient color contrast ratios in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
• Responsive design: The website is fully responsive and usable at all screen sizes, including on mobile devices and when text is enlarged up to 200%.
• Form accessibility: All form fields have associated labels, and inline error messages are provided for invalid inputs.
• ARIA attributes: Dynamic components (mobile navigation, accordions) use appropriate aria-expanded, aria-hidden, and aria-current attributes.
• No content flashes: The site does not contain content that flashes more than three times per second.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some limitations may exist:

• Third-party IDX content: The MLS listing search on our Search page is provided by a third-party IDX provider. The accessibility of that embedded content is subject to the provider's own accessibility standards, which may vary.
• PDF documents: Any PDF documents linked from this site may not be fully accessible. We will provide alternative formats upon request.
